Has every director verified their identity with Companies House?

Enter a company number or name. We read the public register and show who has verified, who still must, and by when — and when the confirmation statement that depends on it is due.

Accountant? Track this for every client.

Practice Portal pulls every client's directors from Companies House, shows who is unverified against their confirmation-statement date, asks the client with a how-to email, and records the personal code when they get it. 14 days free.

What this is

Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act, directors, PSCs and LLP members must verify their identity with Companies House and hold a personal code. New appointments verify immediately; existing officers by the company's next confirmation statement after the regime started. A confirmation statement cannot be filed until the officers are verified. This tool reads the identity verification details Companies House publishes on each appointment; it does not hold or see any personal codes. Data is Crown copyright, from the Companies House public API, and is as current as the register.
